Microsoft managed to get Minecraft to display at a full 1080p on Nintendo Switch when docked.Microsoft actually said at the launch that the decision to limit it to 720p wasn’t because of a lack of power in the Switch. It left the door open for a future upgrade, and it looks like Mojang figured it out.
Minecraft’s resolution when in handheld or tabletop modes will remain at 720p, though, which is more in line with many other Switch games. You can find the rest of the Switch patch notes below

Added Canyon, a free Glide track.
Added Biome Settlers 2 Skin pack.
Added Terracotta and Glazed Terracotta layers to Tumble.
Enable 1080p display when placed in the Nintendo Switch Dock.
Improved performance in Solo Glide when restarting the level (particularly with split-screen spectators).
Totem of Undying now also applies Fire Resistance II.
Fixed some areas where it was possible to escape from Battle maps or Glide tracks.
Fixed a bug where players were unable to milk a Cow in Creative Mode.
Fixed a bug where players were being teleported back to the Nether portal shortly after arriving in the other dimension.

Today the creative director of For Honor Jason Vandenberghe left Ubisoft and joined the ArenaNet. Vanderberghe was the lead creative designer behind For Honor.After leaving Ubisoft and joining ArenaNet he is now the lead director of the well-known series called Guild Wars.Jason Vandenberghe also worked in other projects of Ubisoft like Far Cry 3.He was the creative director for nine years in Ubisoft
According to Vanderberghe the lead designer of Guild Wars 2 convinced him to leave Ubisoft.He said
“The story is long and complicated. The [short] version is that I went out there on a lark – and then fell head-over-heels in love. Isaiah did an amazing job of setting the table, but it was all the people that I met there that sealed the deal.I had nine amazing years at Ubisoft. It has been the best experience of my career.”
“In many ways, I was forged by that place. I leave it full of gratitude for everything I was given the chance to do there, a profound love for all the amazing people who make that place what it is (imagine hundreds of FB tags here), and a bright hope for the company’s future. I look forward to playing all y’all’s games, now and into the future. (Take good care of For Honor, you guys! We did a great thing together. I can’t wait to see where you take it from here. ”
